Gabrielle Clifford is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Endovascular Neurointervention (ENI) at John Hunter Hospital, working within a dedicated team to support the coordination of endovascular clot retrieval (ECR) services across the Hunter New England, Central Coast, and Mid North Coast Local Health Districts. With a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Newcastle and ongoing postgraduate studies in Clinical Education, Gabby is passionate about advancing stroke care through clinical excellence, education, and research. Alongside her work in stroke, Gabby supports and co-ordinates patients undergoing endovascular treatment for cerebral aneurysms and maintains a strong focus on ENI research and service improvement. Her work includes streamlining interdepartmental workflows to reduce time-to-treatment metrics and developing educational resources for radiology, neurology, and neurosurgical teams.
