Smart Strokes 2024 will be held at the Twin Towns Conference and Function Centre (Gold Coast) on 29 and 30 August 2024

The Smart Strokes committee is delighted to invite you to the annual SMART STROKES conference being held at Twin Towns Conference and Function Centre, the Gold Coast on 29 and 30 August 2024. SMART STROKES is a large, vibrant, not-for-profit conference, run by clinicians, for clinicians. Our aim is to deliver a state-of-the-art meeting that attracts clinicians who will ‘change practice’ and challenge the status-quo of everyday service delivery.

SMART STROKES conferences have a uniquely inter-professional outlook, attracting nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, social workers, clinical psychologists, doctors and researchers. The 2024 conference will include keynote presentations from renowned international and national speakers, a scientific program based on peer-reviewed submitted abstracts and ‘hands-on’ workshops. The conference will be a fantastic networking opportunity to exchange ideas with our keynote speakers, your fellow attendees and exhibitors presenting new industry trends and products in stroke care.

Our theme for 2024 is ‘Innovating excellence in stroke care together’. A theme particularly relevant to everyone in the industry, as we collectively strive to push the boundaries of ‘usual care’ to improve outcomes for those at risk of or directly affected by stroke.

We look forward to see you at SMART STROKES 2024, which will be a fantastic, innovative and fun event striving to make real change in the Australian stroke recovery landscape!
