On behalf of Smart Strokes 2025 delegates, the Conference Organisers (ASN Events) have secured a number of rooms at special discounted rates. Bookings can be made during the registration process. You will need to select the available room type, indicate arrival and departure dates, and provide full prepayment in advance to secure your booking.
The special discounted rooms have a free cancellation policy up until 35 days before arrival (Wednesday 10th September). Rooms cancelled after the free cancellation period will be charged the full price of the total accommodation booked.
Mercure Newcastle
Mercure Newcastle has a convenient location 10 minutes' walk from Newcastle Interchange Station for trains, buses and light rail. We're a few minutes' walk from Honeysuckle Station, providing quick, direct light rail access to delightful Newcastle Beach. Our partner hotels will not contact you for any credit card information relating to your reservation via phone calls or email. If credit card authorisation is being requested, the request will only be made directly from our partner hotels upon arrival.

Accommodation can be added to your conference profile during the registration process. Please note, your room is not confirmed until full pre-payment is received. Full pre-payment for accommodation is due by Wednesday 10th September 2025. Several payment options are available: online via credit card (credit card surcharge applies), credit card authorisation form (surcharge applies), over the phone by calling ASN Events on (03) 8658 9530 (credit card surcharge applies) , or EFT by following the instructions on the invoice emailed to you. If you do not receive your invoice, please contact ASN Events.
Accommodation bookings not paid for by Wednesday 10th September 2025 will be cancelled.

A security deposit will be held by the hotel to cover any miscellaneous charges.

If you require additional room nights not already available, please contact the conference secretariat for availability. Changes to your booking should always be done through the conference secretariat, NOT the hotel itself.

Cancellation policies apply to each hotel and apply when cancellations are made within 35 days of arrival. Prior to this, room bookings can be modified and/or cancelled without charge. Rooms cancelled within 35 days of the conference will be charged the full price of the total accommodation booked. Please contact the secretariat if you wish to cancel your stay.
